After reading the entire series of Little Miss and Mr Men books a while back Toby has insisted on having them read to him again at bedtime, the first one he chose was Little Miss Neat. A green tidy character with orange shoes, a blue hat and glasses; She lives in a cottage called 'twopin' and spends her day keeping it clean, by polishing, dusting and making sure everything is in the right place. Little Miss Neat was so obsessed, that one morning when she looked out of her window and saw a puddle on her path, she rushed outside with a duster, mopped up every drop, then washed the duster, ironed itand placed it neatly back where she found it. Little Miss Neat is the 3rd Little Miss book. Roger Hargreaves created the Mr Men in 1971. Ten years later, he created the Little Misses as well, off the back of the success of the Mr Men. Now I have absolutely adored the Little Miss books for as long as I can remember and Little Miss Neat has always been one of my favourites. The story was written by Roger Hargreaves and is number 3 in the series of 33 books. Like all the other Little Miss stories the front cover of the book is plain white with a picture of Little Miss Neat in the centre and her name in block, black capitals above it. Little Miss Neat is herself a roundish green character that looks very prim and proper. She has black hair tied neatly back with a blue hat on her head. Her nose is a pinkish colour and perched upon it are a pair of smart glasses. The back of the book ... Read the complete review
