Little Miss Library: Little Miss Tidy - Roger Hargreaves

Little Miss Tidy is the 22nd Little Miss book. Roger Hargreaves created the Mr Men in 1971. Ten years later, he created the Little Misses as well, off the back of the success of the Mr Men. They are lovely books, which I enjoyed when I was a kid. My son prefers the Mr Men books as he can relate to them more being a male, but they're still very good. Little Miss Tidy looks very tidy. Once again, Hargreaves has done a magnificent job with the illustrations. She is a rotund, yellows shape, with very tidy hair and blue bows. She carries a bag with her. Now this Little Miss character is probably the one my parents would most like me to be - Little Miss Tidy. Unfortunately for them that is definitely not the case but that doesn't stop this great little book being a great read. Little Miss Tidy is number 22 in the Little Miss series of books which contains 33 stories. It was written by Roger Hargreaves who wrote the first 30 stories in the collection, his son Adam taking over the writing mantle for the final 3.
