~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~ Little miss naughty by Roger Hargreaves. ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~ Roger Hargreaves ~~~~~ Charles Roger Hargreaves was born on 9th May 1935 in West Yorkshire. He was an author and illustrator of childrens books and is one of Britains best-selling authors. Roger spent a year working in the family business before going into advertising but his ambition was to be a cartoonist. In 1971 he wrote the first Mr. men book, Mr Tickle. Little Miss Naughty is the 2nd Little Miss book. Roger Hargreaves created the Mr Men in 1971. Ten years later, he created the Little Misses as well, off the back of the success of the Mr Men. They are lovely books, which I enjoyed when I was a kid. My son prefers the Mr Men books as he can relate to them more being a male, but they're still very good. Little Miss Naughty is an oval, purple shape with a green bow on top of her head. In the story, she is always naughty. She knocks Mr Uppity's hat off and stomps on it, then breaks Mr Clever's glasses and many other naughty things. The Mr Men all get together and try and work out what to do about her. Premium Review Little Miss Naughty - Roger Hargreaves: Naughtiness at its best (500 words)
The Little Miss collection is a series of 33 simple children's stories written by Roger Hargreaves and then later his son Adam Hargreaves. Each one tells the tale of a different some-what stereotypical character and so in this way the short stories do have a somewhat moral stance to them. They are however all told in a fun and entertaining way that keeps children amused and appeals to their imagination. Little Miss Naughty is number 2 in the Little Miss Series and the front of the book is white with a picture of Little Miss Naughty in the middle and her name in block black capital letters printed above. Little Miss Naughty is a reasonably large and extremely ...  Read the complete review
For several weeks now we have been reading the Mr Men books to Toby before he goes to bed, now we have finished those we are working our way through the Little Miss books. As we (Toby, Dad and I) are enjoying them so much I wanted to share them with you too. This book is number 2 in the complete collection from Roger Hargreaves, and is all about Little Miss Naughty, a circular purple character who wears a large green ribbon tied into a bow on her head. The picture on the front of the book shows Little Miss Naughty with a large open mouthed grin, which looks like she has done something she shouldn't have. It doesn't look like the photo above! All Mr ...  Read the complete review
Little Miss Naughty is a very fun book for little ones it has an ideal shape so you can hold it properly. The front cover has a picture of little miss naughty and a lovely pink background and in big black bold letters it has the title of the book. This interesting book has sixteen pages. It's a great book before going to bed because it is a short book but it is a very fun book so it is five minutes and lights out. Yourself will find almost anywhere you go.
