Little Miss Splendid - Roger Hargreaves

Little Miss Splendid is the 11th Little Miss book. Roger Hargreaves created the Mr Men in 1971. Ten years later, he created the Little Misses as well, off the back of the success of the Mr Men. They are lovely books, which I enjoyed when I was a kid. My son prefers the Mr Men books as he can relate to them more being a male, but they're still very good. Little Miss Splendid is rather yellow and pompous! She has a red and blue hat with a white with pink polka dot edges to it. She looks rather like you would imagine Hyacinth Bucket to be put into Little Miss form!
