We bought this book for our two young children because my husband remembers Micheal Rosen coming to his school when he was a child and he's been a fan ever since. I hadn't seen any of his work but I'm glad we bought this. Little Rabbit Foo Foo is a very bad bunny with an unfortunate habit of scooping up innocent woodland creatures (and tigers for some reason) and bopping them on the head. Of course this sort of naughtiness has it's consequences as Little Rabbit Foo Foo finds out when he uses up his three chances. Little Rabbit Foo Foo is the most fabulous children's picture story book written by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Arthur Robins. It tells the story of a very naughty rabbit and the consequences that occur when he misbehaves! In fact this book can serve as a very timely warning to any mischievous children you happen to know! As I said, Little Rabbit Foo Foo is very naughty. Well, some might describe him as naughty whereas others might just say he has a strong sense of fun! I picked this book up purely by chance on a visit to the library with my daughter a few weeks ago. I have had to renew this book on each visit since as my daughter repeatedly requests it at bedtime. The author is well known Michael Rosen. He was born in 1946 in Middlesex. He is a writer, broadcaster, poet, teacher and performer. He wrote his first childrens book in 1974 and has pretty much brought out new books every year since. In 1997 he received the Eleanor Farjean Award for services to childrens literature.
