Young Christiopher Chant has a series of strange dreams which allow him to enter the mysterious world of Chritomani. Chris is obliviouis to the fact that he has powerful magical powers or even 9 lives until he meets a terrifiying enchanter Dr parson. Parts of the book are vaugely familiar to the Harry Potter series and helps fill the long wait until the Order of The Pheonix is relased next year. Having suffered major withdrawl symptoms after racing through my last Potter book, and reluctant to wait a year to satisfy my craving for the next!, I started on the Chrestomanci series by Diana Wynne Jones. Some of you may have already read my previous opinion on the 'first' book in this series 'Charmed Life' for those of you that haven't - if you find this interesting then you may want to take a look!
