Advantages: Giggles, enjoyment and insightful

Disadvantages: can't stay up all night to read it!

This book really shows everyone who reads it who the real Alan Carr is, and perhaps unsurprisingly he is just the same as he is on stage as he is off stage! His natural ability to have a comic effect, in my opinion started early on in his childhood. I believe now, since reading this, Alan doesn't just simply create exciting stories to capture the audience or create a room full of laughter, but recalls memories of his childhood putting his delightful humour to the mix.

Alan Carr goes into depth about his some what troubled relationship with his father, his adventures during his GAP year trip, the delights of working in call centres and even more insightful his journey from starting out as a comedian taking him right through his first day filming the Friday Night Project and finishes with his present situation.

As a fan of Alan Carr I felt this book allowed me to understand his true personality and I wasn't disappointed - I highly reccommend this to any Alan Carr fan or anyone wanting a good giggle - Ive already passed my book onto to friends and no doubt plenty of other people have too!
