... there are lots of bits of the story you need to understand before you get into this one. So this book start off with the usual prologue, which as usual is quite confusing and doesn't really make sense till later on in the book when we have a few more bits of information. The main story follows Morgase who has returned to Andor, but in the process is kidnapped by the Children of the Light. Premium Review Lord of Chaos - Robert Jordan: Chaos This Is Not! Beautifully Writen! (507 words)

Rating:

Lord of Chaos is the sixth book in the epic series from fantasy writer Robert Jordan. The Wheel of time is a true epic in every sense, half way through the series now Jordan really delivers an excellent book. This book was released in October of 1994, thats a year since the previous book. That's along time to wait when your reading these books. Jordan is brilliant at building the anticipation at the end of his books, readers can't wait to get into the next book. Because of this the book was another big hit for Jordan and really secured his place in the writing world. This book follows on from the fifth book The fires of heaven. You need to ...  Read the complete review

What would you do if you knew in all probability that the magic you could use was going to drive you mad sooner or later? Book six in the Wheel of Time series finds him with three cities to look after, as well as a warrior nation. There are enemies on the borders and the female magic ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lord of Chaos - Robert Jordan: The best of the Wheel of Time so far (183 words)
by - written on 20/04/01 (Useful, 33 readings)
Rating:

Book 6 of the wheel of time picks up the story with Rand in Caemlyn. Of all the nine books published thus far this is the best, it is before Jordan starts to lose his direction and hence has a theme that threads through from first page to last. The best constructed of the series this book melds the concerns of the different characters together into a seamless storyline. The finale is the best (and most unpredictable) of any of the books apart from maybe the last one, having said this there isn't likely to be anyone reading this who hasn't read the first 5, and if you have read the first 5 you'll likely read this anyway. My advice is to those losing ...  Read the complete review
