Lord of Chaos is the sixth book in the epic series from fantasy writer Robert Jordan. The Wheel of time is a true epic in every sense, half way through the series now Jordan really delivers an excellent book. This book was released in October of 1994, thats a year since the previous book. That's along time to wait when your reading these books. Jordan is brilliant at building the anticipation at the end of his books, readers can't wait to get into the next book. Book 6 of the wheel of time picks up the story with Rand in Caemlyn. Of all the nine books published thus far this is the best, it is before Jordan starts to lose his direction and hence has a theme that threads through from first page to last. The best constructed of the series this book melds the concerns of the different characters together into a seamless storyline. The finale is the best (and most unpredictable) of any of the books apart from maybe the last one, having said this there isn't likely to be anyone reading this who hasn't read the first 5, and if you have read the first 5 you'll likely read this anyway.
