The Lord of the Isles is the first in a five part epic fantasy series written by David Drake. The series is then followed by the Crown of the Isles trilogy which completes the isles super series. The lord of the Isles follows the adventures of four friends from the small village of Barca's hamlet as they transverse the world trying to accomplish their goals. Tenoctris accompanies Garric, who is the main focus of the series, as he leaves with Liane and her father. Sharina leaves with Nonnus, the hamlets 'medicine man', as she is taken away by nobles.
