In my opinion "Lord Of The Shadows" is one of the best books in Darren Shans' highly acclaimed Saga. This book is reminiscent of the whole saga, full of twists and an unpredictable story lines. This book picks up after Darren Shan and Little Person Harkat were sent to the wasteland to discover Harkat's previous identity. The two friends have been spending time traveling with the Cirque Du Freak. Everything is quiet until the Cirque's manager, Mr. Tall, tells Darren that their next stop is Darren's hometown.
