A lovely book, but not one you will read and read and read again (Lost and Found - Oliver Jeffers)

Advantages: Great illustrations Disadvantages: It's a bit sad, the characters look unhappy!
My son got this book aged around 3, and he has enjoyed it a lot, although I wouldn't say it's a favourite. It's a charming story about a boy who befriends a penguin and tries to return him to his home at the South Pole. The illustrations dominate the page, with a little bit of text on each so it's ideal for children who haven't moved on to longer stories yet, and still enjoy the pictures more than the words! There is plenty to talk about in each picture. Summary: One to borrow from the library! |
