A friend first told me about this book and at first i did'nt think i could read it , but i am glad i did.
It is a very harrowing true story of the authors abuse by his mother.

When i read this book it astounded me how evil one person could be.
Young David's abuse started suddenly and without warning, as well as the beatings he recieved were such tortures as being forced to eat his own vomit, being force fed ammonia.

This evil woman also stabbed him for not finishing the dishes on time.
At first his father promised to "rescue" him from the torture but the mother was a powerful woman and also had control over the father.

It amazes me how brave David was and how much he put up with before he finally told his school what had been happening.

I believe everyone should read this book as it really opens your eyes to what is happening in our world.
This is a truly incredible book.
once i started to read it i could not put it down.
