Have just finished reading "Lost " by Chris Jordan and I couldn't wait to write about it, superb edge-of-the-seat thriller. Lost is the second book in a trilogy by author Chris Jordan, a pseudonym of the author Rodman Philbrick. The first in the trilogy was called "Taken", which I have also read and is another amazing story. The third novel is called "Torn", which I have just started. I was very wary of this book, and I've had it on my shelf for ages. The reason why! Because it came as a freebie from Mills and Boon, so I immediately thought it would be a lovey dovey, soppy romance, and those books just aren't my thing. Then one day I was sorting out and I noticed on the front it said 'More Gripping Than Grisham', so I thought I'd give it a try. ~Synopsis~ The book begins with a short prologue, which describes Ricky Lang being somewhat vile toward his girlfriend, whilst at the same time having visions of his children, whom he can no longer see.
