The Lost City is novel by Clive Cussler & Paul Kemprecos. It is from the 'Numa Files' series and features Kurt Austin as the main character. The 'Numa Files' series are effectively split into two sections, some of the books feature Kurt Austin as them main character, whilst the other feature Dirk Pitt as the main character. NUMA is the National Underwater & Marine Agency, where Kurt & Dirk both work within the Special Ops team. The main characters in the book are Kurt Austin and his side kick Joe Zavala, their fellow NUMA agents Paul & Gamay Trout and Kurt's love interest Skye Labelle.
