A Certain Chemistry - Mil Millington

Premium Review It's All Oxytocine (640 words)
by MagdaDH - written on 30/05/09 (Very useful, 24 readings)
Rating:

Tom is a ghost-writer, ready to step into the shoes of and give his voice to anybody from an adventure sailor to self-employed single mother. An Englishman in Edinburgh, he lives with his good-natured, sexy girlfriend Sara. He doesn't hanker after fame, but when the opportunity comes to ghost an autobiography of a big soap star, Georgina Nye, he starts looking forward to the big fee (and the prospect of new carpets in the house). Instructions For Living Someone Else's Life - Mil Millington

Premium Review Not the sort of Instructions I'd want to have for life (584 words)
by mogdred - written on 21/04/09 (Very useful, 257 readings)
Rating:

This is the fourth book by Mil Millington, who first came to attention through his popular website "Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About." This website was so successful that Millington wrote a book of the same title but with adapted content in 2002. Having previously read "Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About" some time ago and finding it very funny, although surreal, I picked this book up in the library. The synopsis on the back of the book sounded interesting - Chris goes out one night in 1988, aged 25, gets very drunk and then wakes up the next morning in 2006, in his forties and in bed with his wife (who he doesn t recognise). ...
