Jacqueline Wilson is a fantastic author, most certainly one of my favourites around! She has such a unique style, and has a way of capturing her reader's attention. One of the books I have enjoyed is Love Lessons. In Love Lessons, Prue's father is rushed into hospital, so she and her sister are made to go to a local comprehensive compared to her usual home-schooling. Although she found it hard to fit in, she did take to one of her teachers, all too well, and an affair began to spark. Can they keep it hidden, or will their flame be blown out? Jacqueline has been on countless shortlists and has won many awards, including the Smarties Prize, and the Children's Book Award.
