The cover of this book doesn't really give anything away as to what lies in store for the reader and it wouldn't really jump out at you in the book store. But do not be fooled, it's a fantastic novel. Don't be mislead by the title it's not sloopy romance. Here we meet Dan and Carmen a successful couple living in Amsterdam and, apart from Dan's indiscretions, they are quite a happy little family with their young daughter Luna. That all changes when they find out Carmen has breast cancer. The novel is written from Dan's perspective.
