'One For The Money' is a veritable banquet of action, laughs, and believable characters, and was addictive from the very first page. The basis of the book is that Stephanie Plum loses her job as a buyer for a down-market lingerie store thanks to cut-backs, and through desperation more than anything, goes to her cousin, Vinnie, for a job. I don't normally manage to read a whole series of books let alone buy them, but Janet Evanovich is such a great author I just had to buy them all. The first book in the series is called 'one for the money' and is your first introduction to Stephainie Plum. The whole series follows the life of Stephanie Plum and the novels follow on in chronological order, although it is possible to read these books as seperate novels.
