Loveless by Yun Kouga centres around Ritsuka Aoyagi a twelve year old boy who's brother Seimei was recently murdered by seven moons.

Ritsuka has no memory of anything earlier than two years ago and with this memory loss his personality changed and because of this his mother doesn't believe he's her son and routinely beats him.

Soubi was Seimei's fighter unit and after Seimei's death he was instructed to fight for Ritsuka. Soubi frequently tells Ritsuka he loves him which angers Ritsuka because he has difficulty with his emotions. It is Soubi who tells Ritsuka his real name, Loveless, and who protects him from other fighter and sacrifice pairs. Soubi is a master of spell battles and fights at a high level.

Loveless is a really good story, the plot is complex especially when concerning seven moons and the characters are well developed. I greatly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to all manga fans and anyone who enjoys a good book.
