Rating:
This is a really lovely little cookbook, unfussy, without pictures or silly narratives, easy to follow three-or four-step recipes which are imaginative, tasty and apparently healthy. Every single recipe works for me - and I have tried them all-many of them several times over. Furthermore, quite a few of them are worthy to be shared with others. These are, among others, stuffed roasted peppers on herby bulgar, or spaghetti with crab and lemon sauce, or baked sweet potatoes with griddled herb chicken. I would highly recommend this book - bearing in mind that I have the cupboard full of other, perhaps more fashionable or glossy ones produced by TV personalities. This one remains my favourite- precisely because it is so reliable. easy to follow and to cook with.
