"Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married" is one of the best reads I've had for a long time. It's obvioulsy about a woman called Lucy (well fancy that) but to be honest it's so well written that it could be you within those pages! Yes that does include all the males out there!

I'm not a fast reader, but I completed this book in record time. I found it compelling throughout mainly because the story tracks her mishaps as well as her ecstasy when she meets the man of her dreams. This is not slushy or stupidly romantic, it's just a good modern adventure that everyone goes on once in a while. It has got some sexual scenes within the pages but these are tastefully done and not smutty at all. The book fills many emotions from humour through to grief; wit right through to sarcasm, but throughout Lucy's experiences there comes a sense of wonder, hope and pressure that all will be well in the end! After all we all want to meet our dream partners don't we?
