Rating:
and has basically been written on the premise that everyone, both children and adults, find pants to be funny! And that s probably accurate! This was written by Giles Andreae (also the author of the Purple Ronnie and Edward Monkton series) and illustrated by Nick Sharrat (known for illustrating a huge number of children s books including the Daisy books (Eat Your Peas, etc), the Jacqueline Wilson series and the Nick and Sue books). So on my fortnightly trek to the library for my kids nightime story selection, my son was over joyed at this finding this little gem, and has so far made me read it almost every night to him! The book I will now review is "MORE PANTS!" This book is literally just that, pants, not in the bad sense though. On the front cover is a cheeky little ...

The author— The Lion Who Wanted to Love was written by Giles Andraee of “Rumble in the Jungle” fame (you may need to have kids to understand the fame part) and illustrated by David Wojtowycz and I was really interested to learn that the inspiration for this book came from a poem that Giles had written years before about a lion who wanted a hug and a nuzzle rather than being strong and fierce. It was a nagging feeling that he had about this poem that eventually prompted him to write the story to go with it and hence The Lion Who Wanted to Love was produced. My Opinion— ...
