 ... recommend reading this book in the summer then you can go and make some lemonade with your child after reading it. The illustrations in this book are good they are simple, not fussy. The colours are bright Maisy mouse is easily recognisable her expressions simple just two black eyes and often a black mouth in a smile she has two ears that stick up pertly on her head. Lucy Cousins has written and illustrated many many children’s book. Ashe has a series of books about Maisy Mouse. In this series is a book called Masie makes lemonade I got this from the library to read to my grandchild. Adrian aged 4, likes books enjoys a story and is beginning to pick out letters and words. I think it is important to have many suitable books around at home to dip into. Adrian has always had books around being read to from an early age. Lucy Cousins has written many books for children.
