Scott McCloud had his most recent brush with mainstream exposure in the form of the comic created to accompany the release of the new browser Google Chrome: (http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/index.html) ; and this, very descriptive, technical, expository, *educational* sort of comic writing is what the artist/writer has come to excel at over the past 15 years, in his comics theory books "Understanding Comics" and "Reinventing Comics", and his subsequent lectures.
