Marilyn Monroe Photographs 1945-1962 by Truman Capote is a small format book, which I bought cheaply from Amazon a couple of years ago for my daughter. It is 120 pages with 48 pages of photographs. The book is plain white and quite basic looking, but is brightened up by a lovely shot of Marilyn jumping in a hot pink floaty dress, one of the sessions taken by Philippe Halsman. The first sixteen pages of the book are given over to an essay by Truman Capote called A Beautiful Child.
