This book is the 2nd in a series of over 8 books. I have just finished reading the 7th, and find them highly amusing stories. Mates, Dates and Cosmic Kisses is just as good as any of the books. I would recommend these books to teenage girls from the age of about 10, to...any age I suppose. My sister, who is 23 picked up one of the books from my shelf and started reading it out of curiosity. Within minutes, she was hooked! I think the books are a good influence to any girl exploring her personality, and without being too rude, Cathy Hopkins gives you an inside look into the lives of four friends: Lucy, Izzie, Nesta and TJ, who all have very different lives.
