Einstein gives his very own Ciao ... more  ... opinion on the back of the book .Yes arguably the most intelligent man on the planet himself read the book and rated it very highly indeed. There is a wee bit in here for everyone interested in anything that is why it is difficult to categorise but everything has a maths feel about it, and certainly that is the recurring me in the book. However there are snippets of interest about shells and why they are formed that way, which would be of interest to Biologists ,and maybe it should be held in the gambling section ,sinc...more |

This book is a wonder,any mathematicians , physicists or historians out there that haven't read it, and those who struggled at maths in school , will find the subject rekindled in this wonderful old book , which has been re-published. This book really is a classic reading it gives a vast amount of information on mathematics which I have never read anywhere else.
