Advantages: Its a interesting book

Disadvantages: Its not the best book

Even though I thought Matillda was a great book I still didnt think it was the best.

This book is basicly about a little girl called Matillda. Her family doesnt really treat her well. Her father is a sales man who sells banged up cars and he treats Matillda like shes dirt. Her mother and older brother dont seem to care much for her either. The only person that seems to care for her is her teacher at school. Matillda enjoys reading and does alot of it. Her teacher finds out that she is really intelligent and moves her up a couple of grades. Mean while matillda fins out she has magical powers and she can make objects float and fly around the room. With these powers Matillda learns how to get back people who are mean to her, including her head master, Mrs Trunchball.

Matillda is a intersting book, not bad but not the best book I have ever read. Still Id reccomend it to people who enjoy Roal Dahl.
