Meg and Mog fly off on her broom stick on a adventure to Egypt, Meg is a witch and Mog is her black cat. There landing in Egypt is a bit rocky, meg lands on top of a pyramid accidentally dropping her cauldron and mog falls out and hurts himself. Meg bandages mog up and goes to get some help but wholst she is gone mog is mistaken for a mummy cat and taken inside the pyramid. When meg returns she has to rescue poor mag and use a spell to get them out of there. This book has 32 pages of wonderful pictures and is a lovely story. The Meg and Mog books by Helen Nicoll is a very popular series for children. - Who are Meg and Mog? - Meg is a witch with a typically hooked nose. She dresses in black, rides on a broom and has a cauldron to mix her potions and spells in, not always however with great success as they often tend to go a bit wrong! Mog is Meg the witch's stripy black and white cat. Like Meg, Mog is very skinny and a looks a tad under-nourished. She has spiky hair, black eyes and bright yellow centres.
