Being the Daughter of an alcoholic and being educated in my early years,at a catholic convent school, I thought reading Anne Robinson's autobiography would bring out a lot of the emotions I had experienced. I am a little confused with myself, with my reactions when reading this. I feel a little embarrassed to admit to you that I found it really hard to sympathise or empathise with her. Not content with being one of the highest paid presenters on television, Anne Robinson - she of the stern manner and irritating wink - has now put pen to paper to give us her autobiography, "Memoirs of an Unfit Mother".
