*Microwave Desi Khana (Tarla Dalal)* I did not know much about this author until I picked up her book 'The Pleasures of Vegetarian Cooking' few months back. Recently I picked up this from a friend's place and the moment I looked into the new approach to Indian Microwave style cooking I was really inching forward to try out few of them myself. This cookery book opens with what is microwave and how it operates. It also provides cooking principle. To me these sounded bit cliché as I knew them before but for a novice it might be useful. Microwave Desi Khana is another cookery book by India's number one cookery author Tarla Dalal. I think it's great that her research team have tried and tested these recipes to perfection and have provided such good instructions on how to cook these wonderful items of food. I am starting to think that I can't possible go wrong with her recipes and am really enjoying cooking more and more. Microwave Desi Khana means Microwave Indian food. As I cook most the time I know how much time and effort goes into cooking Indian food, but I never thought you could use the microwave to save time cooking theses dishes or without them turning out right.
