Another masterpiece from one of my favourite authors, Tom sharpe.In which we meet some completely new characters all aptly named, and once agin in bizzare circumstances. The hapless timothy bright manages to get him self into scrape you couldnt dream about, and again there is the involvement of the police, and another apparent murder. The characters are very strong as we have come to expect from Tom Sharpe and the story is hilarious, certainly kept me laughing until the last page.Definately a book you will want to read more than once ...

This book definitely doesn't match the hilarious mayhem of The “Throwback” or reach the heady comic heights of the Wilt trilogy, but it does rattle along at a fair old pace and had me laughing out loud about a dozen times. The book is gloriously chaotic and I suppose that you could say that it is something of a comic masterpiece. A sequel to this book might be an idea so that his readers can find out what happens to all of his wonderfully created characters. ...
