Barbara Erskine is my fave author. Her books are exciting and very well written and researched. Midnight is a lonely place is one of my favourites, not as long as the others but a great story. The story:- Writer Kate Kennedy splits with her writer boyfriend (Jon Bevan) over her sucess. Money troubles see her flee to the countryside of essex ot be alone and write her book.
