Midnight is the story of Violet & her relationship with her beloved but manipulative & faintly sinister brother, who has a secret from his past that has rocked their whole family. Violet is lonely & adores her brother, but when she makes friends with the new girl at school who is exciting & sophisticated the dynamic between them changes forever & emotions come to a head. For years she stuck by her brother Will, but things are changing in Will's life which means he is not always there for her now. Violet starts to fantasize more until new girl Jasmine arrives at school. Can Jasmine help Violet float back down to earth, or is she just there to cause trouble? This book is aimed at the slightly older readers, about age 12. Though saying that, even now I ... Read the complete review
