Advantages: If you like Mansell's books you will love this one.

Disadvantages: Has a heartbreaking moment.

This is the first Jill Mansell book that I read and the only one which I have only read once.

This book follows the similar theme of Mansell's plots in that the very likeable main character is female and is on a quest for love, without really knowing it. She falls in love with unsuitable people before it reaches it's ending. Like all chicklits and chickflicks the ending is obvious, however how Jill Mansell gets there is the entertainment.

This book differs to others in that it only follows one character (most of the others are based around one central and have a couple of others running in conjunction). It also differs as like I said it is the only one I have read once, yes I love them so much that I read them over and over again!. Now the reason I have only read this one once is that a twist in the plot was so saddening and heartbreaking that I have never been able to bear going through it again.

It is written in her easy to understand style which makes you fall in love with the characters and is a page turner. It is perfect for bedtime reading, or in the bath as you can just drift away with the story.

Be warned though do not pick up if you have an early start as you will not want to put it down.

Summary: Jill Mansell provides the very best in Chicklit. An entertaining read. Highly recommended.
