My mum passed this book onto me a week or so ago, and as I had just finished another book, I thought I would start on this one, I have read one of Jill Mansells books before, Millie's Fling, and loved it, and so I was very excited to get into this one, and I was not disappointed! This is possibly one of the best books I have read.

Miranda is a young woman living in London with Florence, an old woman who is wheel chair bound, she moved in when her parents died and she had nowhere to go, so in exchange for helping Florence out around the house, she got a room in the house for very little rent, with the added bonus that she and Florence get on terribly well, moreso than Flo and her own son Bruce!!!

Miranda works at a hairdresserswhere she is training, even though she keeps getting things wrong, and messing things up, she loves her job, and even though boss Fenn is a pain, he is one of her friends!

For Miranda, men are like buses, none come along for ages, and then 3 come along at once...

When Miranda meets Danny under extraordinary circumstances, she finds herself part of a documentary...which she is actually very excited about! But can she trust him after the way they met??

Then she meets the lovely Greg, he seems perfect, he's sexy, he's sweet, he has a good job, and Miranda finds herself falling in love with him very quickly, what could go wrong....well how about the fact Greg has just left his newly pregnant wife...? But Miranda will never find out...will she...no of course not she couldn't, she has never met Chloe...his wife, and never will.....

Meanwhile Chloe is frantic, she has just found out she is pregnant, and husband Greg has run away as she "knew the rules" on pregnancy, he doesn't want them, he doesn't need them...and he won't stay with her if she is to have them. but Chloe will NOT give up this baby, and she will get by on her own. Working in a small shop with boss Bruce...yes Flo's son...she is trying to work out where she is going to live and what she is going to do, she can't afford her flat anymore, but all the others she has seen are not suitable for a newborn........what will she do? And what will Bruce say when he dicovers she is pregant!?

Down the road, Miranda meets Miles Harper, F1 race driver, and playboy.....so why is he asking her to parties when he could have supermodel acress Daisy Schofield on his arm??????

The story is an excellent mix of crossed wires, lies and mistrust. It is the first book in a very long time, if ever, that I have actually sat and laughed out loud at. It actually had me giggling away, and I literally could not put it down, within an hour of picking it up, I was halfway through the book already, and finished within a few hours. It's certainly one of those books you cannot put down, from the very first page right through to the very last page the book grips you into the story. The characters are excellent, and the antics they get up to though a little extreme are hillariously funny!!!!

After reading this book and the other Jill Mansell book I am definitely looking into getting more Mansell books, absolutely excellent, 10 out of 10, the best book I have read this year!!!!

Summary: A definite must read for any chick lit lover!!!
