One word pretty much sums this up; weird. Neil Gaiman is pretty much my literary hero. He is an amazing author. There has not been a book of his I have read that I didn't find to be wonderful. This is my least favourite of his that I have read and yet I still really enjoyed it thoroughly. This is basically the story of a girl who wants to escape her not so ordinary life in the circus, who is pulled into her imaginary world and has to fight to save it and herself. The whole thing was made of wonderful art and beautifully laid out pages with the text being positioned in different places and in different sizes and patterns, all delicatley placed and blended ...
