Now some of you may know that I have four almost all grown up children, the oldest is 25 and the youngest 16, and so one day in the future I may be a grannie. I'm not in any rush as I am just getting used to the idea that they are older now, and that my eldest son is married and is half way round the world -in Arizona-so life is changing! This wonderful and unusual book tells a story of a primary school teacher, Miss Louise, and what happened when her boyfriend whisked her off to Paris for Valentine's Day. The narrator is one of Miss Louise's pupils who retells the story and is so delightfully caught up in her teacher's adventures, that the reader cannot fail to feel the same way too. This is a simple story where Miss Louise is taken to Paris by her boyfriend. They see wonderful sights and eat delicious food until they end up on the top of the Eiffel Tower where she is proposed too.
