Meg Cabot is probably best known for writing the Princess Diaries series, but in my opinion there are other books of hers that are better, more well written and much more enjoyable: this is one of them. 'Missing: When Lightning Strikes' is one of these. This book was originally written under Meg Cabot's nom de plume, Jenny Carroll but she has since decided to simply write under her actual name (I presume due to pressure from her publisher about advertising and book sales based on the Cabot name. This book was exceptionally good; it beats all books ever made, well in my opinion anyway! This auth writes under 2 names both Meg Cabot and Jenny Carroll... Meg Cabot is widely known as she was the one who wrote the princess diaries. But before she changed her name to her proper name, she used to write under the name Jenny Carroll, this was because she didn't want people to know that it was her who was writing, but eventually she decided she wanted her proper name on all the covers, so the publishers went chaotic but changed all the book covers again with new designs but definitely making sure the author name said Meg Cabot.
