Mock the Week is a book based on the top television comedy programme starring Dara O'Brien and which is on BBC 2. It's basically a comedy show based loosely around the events of the week and where there is lots of stand up comedy and the comedians have to improvise. The book is based on one of the rounds "Scenes we'd like to see." The books contents are not straight from the TV program but are all new ideas and written by a team of 9 different people. None of whom star on the program and I haven't heard of any of them before. This book is very funny and packed full of great one liners.
