My goodness this is a strange book! We love the Mog books and our daughters have most of them so we bought Mog In the Dark to add to the collection. Unlike the others though, this one is very random... Mog is a grey tabby cat who belongs to the Thomas family. The Thomas' are your classic nuclear family - mum, dad, girl (Debbie) and boy (Nicky). While the other Mog stories tell of some adventure or another that Mog has been on, 'Mog in the Dark' is basically about a dream she has. She falls asleep in the garden one night and dreams that the birds she sees turn into fierce monsters and become a mouse/dog/bird hybrid - a 'mouse dog bird thing' but as the dream continues she ...
