This jetlag guide to Molvania if a brilliant book. There is a slight twist, which I won't give away because it might ruin a wonderful moment. My husband watched me reading my copy on Christmas Day until he saw on my face that the penny had finally dropped and it made his year! You of course will probably not be as slow on the take up as I was but that remains to be seen... It is a travel guide to the unmodernised country of Molvania. There are details about its customs and ways of life that are fascinating. The people of Molvania sound pretty unique and I hope that one day I am able to experience the country for myself. Molvania is a humourous guide book to a fictitious country based somewhere in Eastern Europe. The first of the Jetlag travel guides, it is an original concept in travel humour and a very entertaining read. The layout is similar to a Lonely Planet guidebook, with helpful traveller's tips, famous people, suggested itineraries, shopping, maps, sections on history, art, politics, accommodation star guide and dining reviews. Molvania presents a very comprehensive guide and an in depth account of a country that you will (probably) never want to visit. As the cover depicts, Molvania is "a land untouched by modern dentisty" and you will feel pretty seedy ...
