A Tangled Web - Pan Pantziarka
by toconnor - written on 24/07/00 (Very useful, 12 readings)
Rating:
I would have to say that I really enjoyed this particular book. After reading it I believe it to be just as good as the first book "Deceptions". It is totally addictive reading and once you start into it it is very hard to leave it down. This isn’t a trashy novel. The book is full of suspense and surprises, love and despair, ...
Lone Wolf: True Stories of Spree Killers - Pan Pantziarka
by Emma1973 - written on 06/05/02 (Very useful, 93 readings)
Rating:
had watched with horror the news that Thomas Hamilton had walked into Dunblane Primary School and shot dead 16 children and 1 adult, another 17 were injured. Pan Pantziarka (hereafter referred to as Pan), discussed not only Thomas Hamilton but also notorious other spree killers such as Michael Ryan, Martin Bryant, Benjamin Smith and others. Pan devotes a whole chapter to 7 of the most notorious spree killers starting with Michael Ryan who rampaged through Hungerford in 1987. He gives a step-by-step picture of the actions of Ryan, as does with the other killers featured. It is interspersed with quotes and reports from those actually involved in the incidents. ...

And understanding that was a disturbing experience. Spilled brains and strewn viscera are not as unusual in modern life as we might like to think, because car-crashes supply copious quantities of them every day, but the difference with a spree killer is that he supplies them carefully, ...
