I stumbled upon this cookbook whilst browsing through one of my favourite sections of the library - the food section. I remembered Momma Cherri as being the star of one of Gordon Ramsays Kitchen Nightmare programmes. Momma Cherri was one of the rarest people to be included in the series because, for once, her problem was not her cooking, but her organisational skills. Gordon Ramsay loved her food and, said that it was the first time he had ever cleaned a plate in the whole series.
