Last week's visit to the library was particularly fruitful for my two year old son, resulting in an armful of board books featuring all sorts of musical, colourful, pop-up, sticking out and character filled fun! Amongst our haul was one of Jo Lodge's 'Mr Croc' stories which have become one of my son's firm favourites. 'Moo Moo!' might not sound the obvious title for a board book featuring every pre-schoolers favourite crocodile but this time Mr Croc is visiting a farm and looking in the out buildings, behind gates and opening doors to discover the noisy animals within. 'MOO MOO' is a lovely board book by Jo Lodge the book is all about different animals and the noises they make. You can buy this book on Amazon for £3.59 the RRP on the back of the book says £3.99. Jo Lodge has written many other Mr Croc books such as 'Snappy Green', 'Up and down', 'What have you got Mr Croc?' and many more. Each of the books she writes helps teach your child something whether it's learning about opposites or counting etc. On the front cover of the book it has a picture of the well known character Mr Croc with his garden fork and in front of him is a friendly looking cow.
