I adore the Moomin books and this is one my favourites. Although they pre-date me by a few years, the stories have remained timeless and it is always a pleasure to revisit them. They stand up to repeated reading, thanks to the stunning magical tales and intricate illustrations. This book was first published in 1955, broken up into 13 chapters we follow the adventures of the young Moomintroll and his friends, in the midst of the summer. What Can We Expect?
