This book is a collected of 34 essays written by female scientists who are also mothers, chronicling their experiences combining the 2 demanding careers. I bought this book after reading a series of mixed reviews, hoping it would be really inspiring and give loads of helpful tips on how to combine children and working in the lab. Unfortunately i found this book really depressing, the book seems to only include women who exceptional in their field. I would like to know how normal people cope! subsequently i couldn't really relate to the experiences, and was left feeling more confused then before.
