As a young child the Mr Men and Little Miss series of books were always a firm favourite of mine. They were so popular in my house that I had the teddies, the bedding, the curtains, posters, and mugs. I could go on but I'll stop. Come to think of I still have most of that stuff. Anyway as usual I digress. The point is however that once you start reading these books your love for them begins to grow and in my opinion it is this that has made the series so popular. Mr Bounce is number 22 in the Mr Men series, which contains 46 books written by Roger Hargreaves and later his son Adam. Mr Bounce is a round character that is bright yellow in colour and wears a red ... Read the complete review

Mr Bounce is the 22nd of the popular Mr Men children's books written and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves. The books were a favourite of mine when I was a child, and now my son loves them as well. The author started writing them in 1971 after his son asked him what a tickle looked like and he drew it, resulting in the first book in the series, Mr Tickle. Mr Bounce is a round, yellow man with a small purple hat that keeps coming off whenever he bounces. He enjoys being able to bounce around, but one day he bangs his head following a big bounce, and goes to the doctor, Dr Makeyouwell, to get a solution. The doctor comes up with a magic pair of shoes, but what can ... Read the complete review

Mr Bounce is number 22 in the Mr Men collection. He is a round shaped character and is a nice bright yellow, he always has a nice big smile and he wears a pink hat. The front cover of the book is white and has a picture of Mr bounce and the title above this in black lettering. The back cover of the book is also white and has small pictures showing the other characters available in the collection. THE STORY The book begins by telling us that Mr Bounce is very small and he is a bit like a rubber ball because he cannot keep himself on the ground, he bounces all over the place. This can make things very difficult for Mr bounce. When Mr ... Read the complete review

The Mr Men collection is a perfect set of books for young children, I used to really enjoy them as a child myself and I know how much fun I would have reading them at night time. Mr Bounce is a round shaped Mr Men, he is a really bright yellow and wears a small pink hat. On the cover of this book he is bouncing and nearly upside-down, he has a huge smile on his face and his hat has fallen off. Mr Bounce can never stop bouncing; no matter where he is he will bounce and bounce and bounce! Now this usually caused Mr Bounce lots of problems, bouncing all day. One day after he had hurt his head on the ceiling from bouncing he decided that he needed a ... Read the complete review
