Mr Daydream is number 13 in the collection. He is a cloud shaped character and is blue.

THE STORY
Then book starts by telling us it is a story about Mr Daydream and a boy called Jack. We learn that Jack is a very good boy who eats all of his lunch, goes to bed when he is told and always uses his manners. The problem with Jack is that he is a daydreamer.
Whatever he was supposed to be think about he was always thinks about something different.
One day when Jack was at school he noticed something out of the corner of his eye outside the window. Standing on the grass in front of the school was a cloud shaped figure, Jack was very surprised. The figure smiled and waved at him.
Jack looked at his teacher who was still talking and he quietly got up and slipped out of the open window where he went over to the cloud shaped person. Jack and Mr Daydream introduced themselves to each other.
Mr Daydream says he is going off on an adventure and asks Jack if he would like to go with him. Will Jack go on an adventure with Mr Daydream or will he do the right thing and go back to school?
MY OPINION
This is another fun book in the Mr Men collection.
The book is laid out in a very easy to follow way with the words on plain white pages on the left and the illustrations on the right had side. The book has been written in very simple words so it is easy for young children to understand and follow.
The illustrations are all nice and bright and help to keep the children involved in the book.
The book can be read in about 5 minutes so it is an ideal bedtime story.
The words in the book are a bit on the small side so it may put children off from helping read the words. I am making some progress in getting my eldest to help and he is starting to become more confident with them.
