Mr Dizzy is the 24th of the popular Mr Men children's books written and illustrated by Roger Hargreaves. The books were a favourite of mine when I was a child, and now my son loves them as well. The author started writing them in 1971 after his son asked him what a tickle looked like and he drew it, resulting in the first book in the series, Mr Tickle. Mr Dizzy is a strange shape. He has a rather large, round body, then a thin neck and a small 'blob' for a head. He wears a small blue hat and looks rather innocent and 'dizzy'! Mr Dizzy is number 24 in the 46 book long Mr Men series by author Roger Hargreaves carried on after his death by his son Adam Hargreaves. This series along with the accompanying Little Miss series have been the firm favourites of children for years and will continue to be so for years to come. Mr Dizzy is written in the same format as all the other books in the series and has a plain white front cover with a picture of Mr Dizzy in the centre and his name in block, black capitals above it.
